Wow,

2 and a half hours from walking in the door until we left the establishment. From the start it was bad news. We walked in, and went to the host stand and told them 2 of us were eating, and the host asked courtney her name, and she didn't hear him and said "excuse me" and and then gave her a buzzer thing and we left the stand. We then proceded to the bar and i went to order two drinks from the tender and spotted an open seat for us to wait at a hightop table, so i sent court to nab it up. The bartender then made my drink and a girl waiting on the table areas, then came up to me and said are you getting drinks, and i go ya he's got them. She turned to the bartender and said that she would ring them in....:"so that she would get the tip" the bartender and her argued for a minute, and when he gave me the drink he told me that he would pay me not to tip her anything, i smiled and went away. This girl sucked a lot. anyways we ended up waiting for like an hour and a half just to be seated, and we went up to the host stand like 10 times b/c so many people came in after us and then got seated. There is so much more but i'm tired of typing now.

Anyways, bad experience, and i won't be going back any time soon.

Pizza and Salad

Hey All,

Went for a little pizza tonight with the parents and Gina. We decided to go to Talayna's Italian Restaurant an old favorite of the Colaneri's. We used to frequent this establishment a many years ago. There used to be one down by dierbergs but it closed down. Anyways if you ever go there you must MUST get a Manhatten style pizza, 19", and a house salad. First, when it comes to salad I am usually an Imo's house salad fan, but this salad takes the cake, if you like garlic and are up for a trip to heaven then you must try it at Talayna's. There pizza is fluffy and leaves a wonderful white powerdy residue on your fingers when eating it. Although the service is quite lacking the food makes up for it 10 fold. The owner seems to be the only one there with maybe one helper for the tables, but she is never very helpful. If you don't mind a little bit of a wierd encounter with the wait staff and owner, then you'll be fine.

I have 3 favorite pizza places in St. Louis: Raconellis, Dewey's, and Talayna's. If you have a place better than any of these you must let me know. And if you haven't had any of these you must indulge.

Fountain Soda

Have you ever gone to a fast food restaurant and ordered a fountain soda with your meal, of course you have!!!! Well i wonder if anyone has actually experienced the annoying instances that I have. Everytime that I got the fill up a soda, i stick my cup under the deally and the spout next to the one i am using spews a little dribble of soda out and it gets all over my hand. This kills me, b/c everytime this happens no matter what. You would think that i would try a new approach to the fountain system, like a staight on approach instead of the hand on the side approach. Anyways this makes me moan and groan and gives me the stick hand when i'm about to eat.

Dunkin Donuts

So I was recently informed that Dunkin Donuts has now put their coffee in grocery stores. I after having a majical cup over at mom and pop's place, i had to get a pouch for myself. It is delicious. It could be a new obsession, well i know it will be a new obsession.

We put up a christmas tree in the living room and strung some lights up, so i suppose we are on the way to christmas time! I wonder when presents will be put under there?!?! Today we are going to put some ornaments up and relax. We are both a little sick, so tissues are the main tool being used today.

October Closing

October is coming to a close. It came and went pretty quick if you ask me. Courtney and I bought a couple pumpkins the other day and carved them up, and they were bad pumpkins. They were sat on the counter to look pretty, but the next morning one was all wet and slumped into itself infested with mold and the other one was showing signs of an infestation. It was a sad sight. It was a waste of time and money and I'm not happy about it.

So I'm hitting the Rams game tomorrow, more so to see the Browns play than the Rams, and also to spend time with G. I'll be enjoying some stadium NACHOS and other goodies. By the way, I am currently drinking a Vitamin Water, and usually I enjoy just about every flavor but the Power-C (Dragonfruit) is quite awful. All of the other flavors are really good, but i keep tasting this one but its not getting any better.

Tuesday

Its Tuesday night and Court and I are watching VACANCY with Luke Wilson. So far its kinda wierd, pretty much bad acting so far, but i'm willing to give it a chance and watch it all the way through. Had a nice long day today 7-730. SOLID. I'm drinking a nice cup of coffee laying with George and sitting with Court on the couch. Its almost Hump day and that means we are almost back to the weekend again woo hoo. Court will be headed to Providence, Rhode Island this weekend and it will be just the boys here. I'll be hanging all weekend just relaxing doing nothing I hope. I hope everyone has made it back to the blog, I keep getting messages that people are glad I'm posting again, I thank you all for your support. I hope everyone is having a good week. Think movie is getting pretty intense!!! oh man... I'll give a full review tomorrow, check back!!!!

30th Birthday

Court and I went to her parents house last night for her brother Gary's 30 birthday party. Of course Susie provided a great spread. Toasted Ravioli, Chicken Wings, Mini Tacos, and some smaller sanchwiches, and who could forget the delightful stuffed Mushrroms, YUM!

Anyways today we hit the pumpkin patch and got a couple nice ones. Carved them all up and such, and they look very professional. Little Georgie has been throwing up all day today, i think he might of gotten a hold of a few chicken bones last night and possible some nacho cheese that was probably left sitting around, either way he's paying for it today. The poor thing :(. Anyways Thats the news for now. You heard it here first. Hope everyone's week fly's by.
