Let me start by saying if you serve in the military, this is by no a zing on you or our country.
I simply hate when people are introduced to someone who is in uniform for the military. It always starts with the person saying, "Thank you! Thank you! I really appreciate all that you do. Thank you so much." blah blah blah. I certaintly appreciate anyone who has the balls to serve in the military and take the abuse and harshing living conditions, but in no way am I going to make them unconfortable by thanking them a thousand times. They are a person just like everyone else. I'm not treating anyone like royalty because they are in the army or marines, navy or air force. I absolutly hateeeee this. Maybe if someone took an interest in what that person actually did while serving or where they are stationed that would be alright. But simply thanking someone to death shows, in my opinion, well i'd rather not say. I don't want to offend anyone, but i just don't like it... that is all
much love
