Family and Friends

With the years end approaching with such haste, we must all remember what is most important in life...family and friends. Without the people that you love and that love you, one is the poorest of the poor. We have to remember that the material aspect of life means nothing because at the end of the day you can always depend on your family and friends to guide you and believe in you. The Thanksgiving holiday was a great one, getting together with family and old friends really was a great boost from the monotonous work weeks that seem to fly by and waste away. Its a nice break to slow things down and just relax and think of old times and new ones to come. I hope everyone has had such a great few days. Christmas time is next with more gatherings and more fun.....hope to see you all there!

sleeping

People who can sleep on call it fascinating to me. When someone can say time for bed and bing bang boom the "z's" are flying.

A noisy bed is never my idea of a good bed; it creeks and crack upon every move as is saying,"I see your legs moving, or I'm not sleeping either", or simply to say caught you again you fidgiting little bastard. It forced you to lay in uncomfortable positions so that that big creek doesn't wake your significant other. You always know it is inevitable, that your are needs blood flow and if you don't move it you are risking a limb, and who is prepared to sacrifice that? So here is the ultimate "move of courtesy" ... You do your best to sleep lightly, you might even get lucky and make it through the night, but once a slight creek or shift from your partner is compromised you pounce on that chance to do a proverbial backflip into the best position possible. Granted this could take hours, but this is important that you make one continuous movement before committing to a resting place. Once silence is revisited it cannot be broken, for you have had your window of opportunity. Anything more that that is simply rude. One must wait for the next window to press on.

These are the rules I live by. Enough said.

Working Out

Since the recent proposal to Courtney, we have been hitting the gym. Doing plenty of cardiovascular training and weights as well is a must. 24 hour fitness was the spot we hit. With a steal of a deal at 19.99/month no enrollment fee I couldn't pass it up. I hope to drop some serious poundage and tone up so that I look sharp for pictures. I will update everyone on my progress!!!
